From the first sketch to the finished textile, each stage follows a set rhythm. Some steps take days, others take weeks. Here is the path we walk with every order, whether it is a single throw or a wholesale batch.
Step 01 — Consultation
We start with a conversation about your space, the palette you have in mind, and how the piece will be used. You receive fabric swatches of organic cotton, combed wool, and linen so you can feel the difference before we begin.

Step 02 — Design & quote
Based on your notes, we prepare a technical drawing with exact dimensions, weave structure, and dye references. You get a fixed quote with no hidden costs. Once you approve, we reserve a place in the workshop calendar.

Step 03 — Natural dyeing
The yarn is mordanted and dyed in small batches using madder root, indigo, walnut husk, or pericón. Because we work with natural pigments, each lot has subtle variations. We send you a photo of the dyed skeins for approval before weaving starts.

Step 04 — Hand weaving
Each piece is woven on a traditional loom by one of our partner workshops. A medium throw takes roughly two full days of weaving. After the loom, we inspect the tension, edges, and pattern consistency. Any irregularity is corrected by hand.

Step 05 — Finishing & wash
The textile is washed gently with neutral soap to remove any residue, then laid flat to dry in the shade. We press it and trim loose threads. For fringed pieces, we knot and align each fringe by hand to keep the edge clean.

Step 06 — Delivery
Your piece is wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and shipped in a rigid cardboard box. We include a care card with washing instructions and a note about the artisan who made it. Most orders arrive within 5–7 business days.

Timelines are estimates and can shift slightly during peak season or when a specific dye plant is not available. We always keep you updated if a stage takes longer than planned.
A few practical notes so there are no surprises between the catalogue page and what arrives at your door. These points apply to every piece we list, unless a specific product page says otherwise.
Each blanket, cushion or tapestry is made on a handloom, not by a machine. This means there can be a natural difference of up to 2–3 cm in width or length between pieces from the same batch. The colour of vegetable dyes also varies a little with each dye lot. We consider this part of the character of the textile, not a defect.
We list the finished size for every item in centimetres, taken after the piece has been washed and dried. If you are ordering for a specific sofa or bed, we recommend measuring your space first. For custom sizes, please contact us before placing an order – we can often adjust the width or length for an additional fee.
Most items in the catalogue are made to order. The estimated production time is shown on each product page and usually ranges from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the weave and the current workload of the workshop. We do not keep a large stock, so please plan ahead for events or seasonal displays.
Wool and organic cotton have different needs. We include a care label with every piece, but as a general rule: hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, dry flat away from direct sun, and do not tumble dry. Linen can be machine washed on a gentle cycle. When in doubt, follow the instructions on the product page.
If you are a shop or decorator looking for trade pricing, the catalogue prices do not apply. Wholesale orders have a minimum quantity per design and a different lead time. You can request the wholesale price list and sample set through the contact form – we usually reply within two working days.
Because each item is handmade and often made to order, we can only accept returns if the piece arrives damaged or with a clear manufacturing fault. We cannot refund for differences in shade or minor size variation. If you are unsure about a colour, we recommend ordering a physical sample before committing to a larger piece.
