Common questions about our textiles

Straight answers about materials, care, and how our made-to-order pieces work. If something is still unclear, our team is happy to help.

What does made-to-order mean for delivery times?

Each piece is woven after you place your order, so production usually takes between two and four weeks depending on the item and the season. We send an estimated completion date with your order confirmation, and we keep you updated if anything shifts.

How do I care for handwoven wool and linen?

Wool pieces should be hand washed in cold water with a gentle detergent and dried flat, away from direct sunlight. Linen can handle a warm machine wash on a delicate cycle, but we recommend air drying to preserve the natural texture. Every product page includes specific care instructions for that particular weave.

Are the dyes really plant-based and low impact?

Yes. Our workshops use dyes derived from roots, bark, leaves, and insects like cochineal. They carry a low chemical load and are safe for sensitive skin. Because these are natural dyes, you may notice subtle variations between batches, which is part of the character of hand-dyed textiles.

Can I request physical samples before ordering?

Absolutely. We offer sample sets of our most popular yarns and weaves so you can feel the texture and see the colors in person. Samples are especially useful for decorators and shop owners who need to match a specific interior palette before committing to a larger order.

Do you work with wholesale and trade clients?

We do. Interior designers, gift shops, and boutique hotels can request our wholesale price list and seasonal catalog. Minimum quantities apply for trade orders, and we can discuss custom colorways for larger projects. Reach out through the contact page and we will guide you through the process.

Need more details about a specific piece or our wholesale terms? Get in touch with us and we will get back to you within two working days.
